5. Equipment principle:

The steam generator is a kind of heat exchange equipment, which transfers the heat of water in the primary circuit to the water in the secondary circuit, so that it can be converted into steam for steam turbine work. Since the water flow in the primary circuit is radioactive through the core, the steam generator, pressure vessel and pipeline in the primary circuit constitute a barrier to prevent radioactive leakage. During the normal operation of PWR nuclear power plant, the water and steam in the secondary circuit should not be polluted by the primary circuit water and have no radioactivity. There are two types of steam generators in PWR nuclear power plant, one is direct flow steam generator, the other is saturated steam generator with steam water separator. Most nuclear power plants use saturated steam generators with steam water separators. The following focuses on the structure of this steam generator. Most saturated steam generators are vertical inverted "U" tube natural circulation structure with built-in steam separator. The coolant from the reactor enters the primary water chamber through the I: ZL connection of the lower head of the steam generator, passes through the inverted "U" tube, and transmits the heat to the secondary side water at the shell side, and then flows to the suction of the coolant circulating pump from the outlet water chamber and the connection of the lower head. After three-stage steam water separation, the dryness of steam is greatly improved. The saturated steam with certain dryness is collected at the top of the steam generator and led to the steam turbine through the main steam pipe of the secondary circuit. According to the operation requirements of saturated steam turbine in nuclear power plant, the saturated steam dryness of IZL from steam generator shall not be less than 99.75%, and the steam dryness at the inlet of steam turbine shall be about 99.5%.
